On Feb. 1 sommelier and certified French Wine Scholar Stephen Hart will host an Alsace tasting event with wines that express regional history rich with half-timbered houses, renaissance and viniculture.

The ode to Alsace, France will feature Grand Cru wines classified in the top 4 percent of all wine produced in the region.

Hart will guide guests as they experience the flavours and textures of the wines, which have French and Germanic influences dating back to the 14th century, and unique characteristics due to the 13 different soil types found in the valley.
