About the feature act:

⭐ Anjelica Scannura is a comic and actress. She was a finalist in Toronto’s Comedy Brawl 2019 and has performed in the Burbank, Palm Springs and Boston Comedy Festivals. She’s opened for Shane Gillis and Stavros Halkias and has completed residencies at Broadway Comedy Club in NYC in addition to being a rostered comic at The Stand. She was thrilled to have Winnipeg Comedy Festival 2022 as her Canadian comedy festival debut!

She had principal and supporting roles in Disney’s Camp Rock, Disney’s Overruled, CTV’s Satisfaction, APTN’s Renegade Press, The CW’s Reign, TIFF’s Manson My Name is Evil, Entertainment One’s Little Italy, CBC’s Exhibitionists and CBC’s Frankie Drake Mysteries, to name a few. A professional dancer, she has worked closely with the Canadian Opera Company, the National Ballet of Canada and has won the prestigious Bellydancer of the Universe competition twice.

She joined the prestigious Festival Players of Prince Edward County in 2021 as their Comedy Festival Artistic Associate, and is co-producing Haymaker Comedy Festival Prince Edward County’s first ever comedy festival at the end of June.

She currently co-produces Classy Dirtbags, Rooftop Comedy and the Jam N’ Jelly Experiment in Toronto and just launched her free fitness & lifestyle app called Anjelica’s Daily Surprise, which features Puff Mama! www.anjelica.tv
