Alignment: Mind, Body, and Soul

What is alignment and how do we find it in ourselves?

This fall, Syzygy is hosting a gathering to explore the theme of alignment and what that means to us as a community of multifaceted, self-identified women. What does alignment look like? In what ways have we, as women, been fragmented in our minds, bodies, and souls? How do we put the pieces back together?

For many of us, these three facets that make up a whole person have been pulled apart through factors like popular culture, career pressures, social media, politics, advertising, inequality, and more. With that said, there’s been a rise of women speaking out on the value of wellness and bridging the divides that keep us from feeling whole and being our full selves. It’s a nuanced topic and we know there is no one way to explore this theme.

So, this fall, we’re inviting three “opposites” to share their stories with us and guide the gathering through an open exploration of alignment. We look forward to an afternoon of mind-bending dialogue, personal reflection, drinks & snacks, and meaningful connection with this vibrant community.

Syzygy — a union of opposites — is on a mission to gather and connect women in Toronto. Through seasonal gatherings, we create spaces for self-identified women to connect, network, discuss essential femme themes, and learn from one another. At our core, we are women who believe in the magic of other women.
