Acrylic Paint Night

"Your mood is your art! Use acrylic on canvas, paper, and other surfaces! Learn how to use a variety of tools including brush, knife, ruler, and more! You can use any tool for abstract artwork and develop your creativity. All you need is simple colour mixing and a willing attitude to experiment! Remember Rome wasn’t built in a day and acrylic painting is a continual process!

$35 per person! All materials supplied. Each person gets one drink. (Your choice of wine or tea.) All skill levels welcome!

Facilitators Biography

Neda Mirbagheri is a Toronto-based artist. She was born in Iran and has lived in Southeast Asia prior to moving to Canada. She began her study of painting through private classes while in high school. Neda's passion is to paint. Her art education is mainly self-directed and she has attended in various painting workshops and classes to hone her painting skills in drawing and oil painting.

Neda's style is inspired by a simple amalgamation of Persian Carpets and Gabbeh. She translates the traditional geometry of carpets to the modern abstract art.

Neda has cooperated with Gardiner Museum as an artist and volunteer as well as Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) (Western Asian department) to work on Persian and Middle Eastern ceramics."
