Join us at this one of a kind art therapy and yoga experience. Connect to your creative side like never before at Artbox’s Yoga & Watercolour Workshop.

What to Expect:

Upon arrival, take a moment to explore our gallery and immerse yourself in the calming, creative atmosphere. Grab a refreshment and settle in for an inspiring fusion of expressive art and mindfulness, starting with an intuitive painting designed to tap into your emotions before and after your mindful meditation and yoga session.

Introduction to Expressive Art:

Begin with a 15-minute freestyle intuitive painting session with certified art therapy practitioner and owner of Artbox, Natasha Aird. This is know as expressive art, which encourages emotional expression and relaxation, allowing you to tap into your creative instincts and emotions.

Yoga, Meditation & Breath work:

After painting, Ligia F. a certified yoga instructor of over 20 years and owner of Fitbox Studio, will guide you through a rejuvenating yoga session and light Thai massage (optional) designed to regulate your nervous system. This will include mindful meditation and breath work to help ground and centre your energy. This session is beginner friendly catering to all skill levels.

Second Painting & Colour Analysis:

Following the yoga session, you’ll create a second expressive painting. and will receive a colour analysis allowing you to explore how your creativity and energy has been influenced by the mindfulness exercises.

All Materials Provided:

All art supplies, including watercolour paints and brushes, are provided. Yoga mats will be provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own as well.

Snacks & Refreshments:

Enjoy a selection of tea, refreshments, and light snacks, all included with your ticket.

Take Home Your Art:

At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home both of your watercolour paintings and new insights gained during the experience.

Who Should Join:

This workshop is open to anyone looking to experience creativity through mindfulness and physical grounding. Suitable for all skill levels. Must be aged 14+ to participate. Guests aged 14-16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
