A Theatrical Adaptation of Jean Cocteau's LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES
Les Enfants Terribles is an adaptation of Jean Cocteau’s surrealist novel and film of the same name. It tells story of a sister and brother cut off from adult society, living in a fantasy created through found objects, and imaginary tales. Explored through live projection and puppetry, this theatre production invites audience into the children’s bedroom and the secret world it withholds.
Produced by the UC Follies, University College’s student-driven theatre production company, entertaining University of Toronto and Toronto Arts community for over 100 years with one simple goal: to provide an inclusive space for students to work in a professional environment outside of the classroom. This year, our season is focused on exploring the themes of the performance of identity.
