Canada's best known Dark Synthpop act. This duo of electronic pioneers have been bringing their dramatic lyrical soundscapes with goth atmospherics, and crafty drum machine grooves to life for the past four decades!
An enduring legend of independent electronic music. From cold harsh industrial, through warm Synthpop, Dancefloor Minimal, Dark Wave, and beyond. Best known for their hits "Unveiling The Secret", "Eternal", "Misery", "Sanctuary", "15 Minutes", and their world renowned version of Q Lazzarus' "Goodbye Horses" (which first became famous by its appearance in the movie "Silence Of The Lambs").
Since the 80s, Psyche has built a solid fan base in Europe and a cult following in the rest of the world with their marriage of drama and melody. Initially surfacing as a minimal synth act with a bizarre, confrontational stage show, their work gradually became more pop-minded while maintaining a dark, brooding atmosphere.
To date, Psyche has released 11 full length albums, several compilations, and a DVD entitled "Imaginary Life" which includes video and live appearances spanning the formative years from as early as 1983 up to 2005.
After underground success with "The Brain Collapses", the big Eurohit "Unveiling The Secret" followed, and PSYCHE has since then continued to release a variety of songs and albums enveloping every facet of the electronic pop music genre. Various members have collaborated with Darrin to continued his ground breaking song collection from "‘Eternal”, and “Misery", to the renowned cover of "Goodbye Horses", to "Sanctuary", and finally what can be heard on "The 11th Hour”. (#1 DAC Charts German Alternative Charts in 2005)
2018 saw a successful return to new music with the epic single “Youth of Tomorrow”

SIVIYEX is Castelvi (bass guitar, vocals, synths, vocoder) and M. Gomes (synth guitar, programming,vocals). They combine elements of shoegaze, electro, italo and new wave, with the conceptual influence of alternate dimensions, space, dreams, and out-of-body experiences into their unique sound. They have shared stages with Xeno and Oaklander, Void Vision, Psyche, Kim Ann Foxman, Patrick Codenys (Front 242), Christina Sealey (Orphx) Digital Poodle, Bang Elektronika, Lauren Flax, Magda, Choir Boy, Riki, Techniques Berlin, Light Asylum, MVTANT, Semantix, Memorex, Ortrotasce, and Silent Em. They have a release on legendary NYC Electro label Serotonin Records founded by John Selway and Jason Szostek, German Minimal Synth label Kernkrach Records and German label Cold Transmission.
Their debut album available on both physical (12 inch vinyl) and digital platforms was released on New Orleans label Disko Obscura in February 2020. SIVIYEX blends this diverse range of influence into nine uniquely synthesized out of this world tracks certain to dematerialize your current dimension. This self- titled debut record, Siviyex, made the Post-Punk.com best of 2020 list. Dopplereffekt also included 2 unreleased Siviyex songs “Gates of Redaura” and “Visions in Formath” during their NTS radio take over in 2021. These 2 tracks can now be found as part of Siviyex’s sophomoric LP “The Mirrax Sequence” officially released February 25 2024 via Paris, France based label Nooma Intl. “The Mirrax Sequence” presents 10 highly scenic cuts, that brewed within the band's collective subconscious over the last few years, fueled by vivid night visions, alternate dimensions, and dreams that combine reality with film fiction. Since the release of “The Mirrax Sequence”, Siviyex have recently been featured on UK radio show Bass Agenda, well known publication Post-Punk.com as well as play listed by legendary UK Dj and producer , Dave Clarke.
