8 80 Streets Danforth will temporarily transform a section of Toronto’s Danforth Street into a more safe and people-friendly space!

The pop-up street makeover will take place on August 23rd – 24th, 2019, from Woodbine Ave to Woodmount Ave. This will be the first pop-up street makeover of its kind in Toronto, bringing internationally renowned tactical urbanists The Better Block Foundation to Canada for the first time.

The pop up will include parklets, enhanced public seating, enhanced public lighting, performance spaces, public art, programming and more!
