In tune with Pride celebrations, we are excited to once again host our annual Wiggly & Proud event, a celebration of acceptance, and universality. Since it's conception about 9 years ago, Wiggly Events has consistently created safer dance spaces, and provided equal opportunity in an highly male dominant Toronto music industry. Although we recognize that we can still do better, currently at about 40%, Wiggly Events has one of the highest rates of non-male identifying performers in the event industry of Toronto. This year we are also very excited to partner up with The 519 with portion of the proceeds from this event being donated to this significant community center.

Wiggle Room has also applied for a 4AM extended bar license for this occasion, in an effort to increase donations, and in anticipation of extended alcohol services we have programmed additional performances.

DEKO-ZE - one of the most legendary names in the Canadian underground scenes. With a career that has expanded multiple decades, Deko-ze is known for his dirty, bouncy, often tribally, and ultimately really fun sweaty beats. His label Jungle Funk consistently puts out some of the bounciest house music that you have danced to. It's been long overdue to have this master at a Wiggly Event, and it's even more special that it worked out to coincide with Pride.

Drogynous - Dan has been supporting Wigglys for years, and when we heard they had picked up DJing during the pandemic, we just had to have them at Wigglys, and Dan has delivered every time.

You may use the safe word BANANA, ask any of our staff for a Banana and we will direct you to a safe quite space. Our security staff are in marked clothing. Our team and event hosts such as Takin, Lindsay Fay, Nour Bawab, Christina Barron, Tyler Hill, Mitch (lead security), Kristen, Maria (bar), Tanya, and Megan are all available.
