RISE is an event series to provide a platform to women, queer, trans, people of colour, non-binary, gender nonconforming, and two-spirit performers in an industry that is recovering from being historically cis-male dominated. Wiggly Events and Wiggle Room are proud to provide a Safer Dance Space to these communities and a platform for artists to flourish. For this episode of RISE we welcome back ALAMUSIC from Ottawa, who plays some of the bounciest house music we have heard, along with locals Jenny Boo, Cozmic Cat, and resident Barroness. We also welcome for the first time at Wiggle Room: BIRDY who will be setting the mood early on the night.
