Next Stage turns 10!

Toronto Fringe started the Next Stage Theatre Festival 10 years ago to give indie artists an opportunity to take their work to the next level. We also wanted a way to celebrate the Fringe movement throughout the year a way to make January the new July. Since 2008, over 75,000 patrons have attended NSTF. $495,000 has been returned to the artists that participated.

Artists from the festival have gone on to become major players in Canadas cultural scene, bringing the indie spirit with them. We are so proud to have offered them a platform, a showcase, a next stage.
