Announcing the 2017 Art Battle Canada National Championships!

Please join us Thursday July 27th in Toronto to celebrate the very best in live painting. Winners of Regional Finals from across the country will compete for a cash prize, the Trophy and the title of 2017 Art Battle National Champion! The competition takes place in two beautiful rooms at the Great Hall in Toronto, the Great Hall itself and the amazing space beneath, the cool and mysterious Longboat Hall. Both Halls have large wrap-around balconies, cash bars and amazing music throughout the night!

WHAT IS ART BATTLE?

Art Battle is live competitive painting. Painters create the best work they can in 20 minutes. As they work, patrons move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favourite painting and bids in silent auction to take the work home. Check artbattle.com for local listings!
