100In1Day Laneway Tour with the Laneway Project

Monday, April 23, 2018
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

On June 2, 100In1Day is returning to Toronto! We invite you to join in transforming your city through hundreds of urban interventions all in one day.

Imagine the possibilities for our city if hundreds of people united to participate in small initiatives to spark change.

People of all ages, backgrounds and locations across the city are invited to attend workshops to develop their 100In1Day interventions – from idea to execution.

Join Michelle from The Laneways Project on a tour of some laneways in downtown Toronto and consider how we can imaginatively transform these spaces for the betterment of our community. Check out her bio below. Dress for the weather as the tour will be outdoors! The tour will depart from CAMH at the corner of Ossington and Queen at 6pm.

Michelle Senayah, Co-Founder and Executive Director, The Laneway Project

Michelle is an urban designer and placemaker with over a decade of experience in Toronto’s city-building sector. Since 2013, she has worked to bring Toronto’s underused public spaces to life as vibrant, complete places through a series of precedent-setting demonstration projects, research reports and policy initiatives.

Undertaken in collaboration with a wide range of public, private and grassroots-level stakeholders, these projects have explored whether, why and how to adapt our public realm to ensure a high quality of life for our city’s growing and changing population.
