People are obsessing over a sandwich at a restaurant in Ontario

People are going crazy over a specific sandwich at an Ontario restaurant.

While Nostra Cucina, an Italian sandwich shop in Kitchener, has an extensive menu of hot, cold and grilled panini on their menu, it's one specific dish that has people wiping the drool off their chins at the mere thought of it.

Meet the Veal Parm Panino, also known as 'The Love,' which is served hot with a no-frills approach: just breaded veal on a bun with homemade tomato sauce and your choice of provolone or mozzarella.

Sure, it's simple, but aren't all of the best things in life?

Forgoing any and all of the bells and whistles, the sandwich showcases the veal parm in its purest form — all sauce and cheese and meat — and maybe that's what makes it so great.

In a recent post on a Waterloo Food Facebook group, one member posted a photo of their Veal Parm Panino, proudly declaring it the "best veal parm [they've] ever had," and fellow fans were quick to voice their approval.

"Hands down best in region!!!!" one person comments, while another comments that it might just be the best in the entire province.

The Facebook post that prompted an outpouring of love for The Love.

Other fans of the restaurant were quick to point out that, while The Love is by far the star of the show at Nostra Cucina, the Oven Toasted Steak Sandwich and Meatball Paninos deserve plenty of love, too.

Whether you're a Veal Parm fiend or are feeling love at first sight after seeing The Love, you can visit Nostra Cucina at 31 Manitou Drive in Kitchener, about two-and-a-half hours outside of Toronto.
