Former Raptor Danny Green just dined at Michelin approved restaurant in Toronto

A former player on the Toronto Raptors Championship-winning team of 2018-19 just made a visit to the city and stopped by one of the best Caribbean restaurants in town.

Danny Green may have only played on the Raptors for one season, but he's forever a Toronto boy at heart.

At least, that's what his taste in Toronto restaurants would indicate.

During his return to the city over the Canada Day long weekend (how patriotic, Danny!) the current Cleveland Cavaliers forward swung by King West hot spot, Chubby's Jamaican for a bite.

In an Instagram post made by the restaurant, Chubby's enthusiastically thanks Green for visiting with his "crew," and shares photos of the group posing in front of the restaurant.

Chubby's has yet to respond to blogTO's request for comment on what the baller ordered but the restaurant's Instagram post includes a photo of their quintessential Ackee and Saltfish bites — a must for any diner at the restaurant.

Danny Green isn't the only celebrity who has an affinity for Chubby's; earlier this year, Justin Trudeau was spotted popping in for a jerk feast, and last year the restaurant was visited by The Boys star, Simon Pegg.

If you want to dine like the Green Ranger himself, you can visit Chubby's Jamaican at 104 Portland.
