Fruta Libre is giving away free food in Toronto this week

Mexican street food stall Fruta Libra will be making spring a bit sweeter this week with a massive food giveway.

Fruta Libra is known for their wide range of food, drinks and snacks they serve out of their stall at the World Food Market near Yonge and Dundas. Now, they've partnered with us and Dished Toronto to give away 100 of their fruit cups this Friday, June 14th starting at 5 p.m.

Here's what you need to know to score one of the fruit cups.

  • Be one of the first 100 people to show up at Fruta Libre at 335 Yonge St. (just north of Dundas). When you get there just line up in front of the Fruta Libra stall and a member of our staff will verify that you qualify for a free fruit cup.
  • To qualify for a free fruit cup, you must show us that you follow either Dished Toronto on Instagram or TikTok and follow Fruta Libre on either Instagam or TikTok.

Fruta Libre will be giving out the free fruit cups to the first 100 qualifying people in line. Each person in line can only claim one fruit cup each (sorry, you can't bring your friend's phone or save a spot for them in line).

Fruta Libre will be giving away 50 "Mango in a Cup" ($10 value) and 50 "Mixed fruit in a Cup" ($11 value). Each cup is seasoned with chamoy and taijin in traditional Mexican style.

You'll have your choice of cup until one of them runs out and the rest of you will get whatever cup is still available. So get there early if you want your choice of cup!

See you there!
