Where to celebrate American Thanksgiving in Toronto

American Thanksgiving in Toronto is occasion for expats to celebrate and for Canadians to double down on turkey dinners and pumpkin pies. Whether you want to feast with family and friends or jump on the football bandwagon, here's where to celebrate American Thanksgiving in Toronto.

Allen's
This pub on the Danforth serves up their 29th annual American Thanksgiving Dinner. Start with soup or salad followed by roasted turkey or ham and an apple galette with maple whip for dessert. Dinner is $46.50 per person, or $66 with a glass of wine paired with each course, or take the feast home for $35.

America
The Trump's 31st floor hotel restaurant celebrates American Thanksgiving with a special menu featuring a la carte selections like slow cooked turkey with brussel sprouts and sourdough sausage stuffing ($36), and sticky toffee pudding with pumpkin ice cream ($14).

Globe Bistro
Also on the Danforth, this multi-level restaurant is offering a festive $35 U.S. Thanksgiving prix fixe menu featuring three courses including turkey with all the trimmings and pumpkin pie brulee to finish.

McSorley's Saloon
You can celebrate American Thanksgiving at this Bayview and Leaside sports bar. There will be football, a turkey dinner with all the fixings, beer deals, prizes and football square boards.

Wahlburgers
The American burger chain offers their Thanksgiving Day burger every day, but the timing couldn't be more right than it is on Thursday. This handheld feast features a ground turkey patty loaded with stuffing, orange cranberry sauce, roasted butternut squash and mayonaise on a bun.

Southern Accent
The longstanding Cajun restaurant on Markham Street is home base for an American expat meetup as always. The restaurant will be serving up a Turducken prix fixe fest for $36 starring a turkey, duck and chicken roll roasted with a trio of stuffings and served with sweet potato, cornbread, bacon and greens.

The Salty Dog
This bar and grill in the Beaches hosts a Thanksgiving themed tail gate party starting at noon on Thursday, November, 26. Expect an afternoon of NFL games, corndogs and philly cheesesteaks, games, trivia, and prizes, followed by a homestyle turkey dinner in the evening.
