Rancho Relaxo

Rancho Relaxo re-opening in new location

Rancho Relaxo is set to return to the restaurant game in Toronto with a new space in the Junction Triangle at the corner of Edwin and Dupont across from Farmhouse Tavern.

The long-time College Street institution packed things up back in July (that space is now Old Laurel) with plans to focus on their food truck operations. Now they're taking what they've learned from their truck experience and opening a take-out spot called Rancho Relaxo to Go.

Early indications are the the menu will be very similar to what's on offer from the food truck. Expect fish and pulled pork tacos, burritos, quesadillas as well as vegan (cauliflower tacos) and gluten-free options.

The new space is small, but there's enough seating that it'll feature free WiFi for those looking to get some work done. The opening date hasn't been revealed yet, but based on the state of the interior, I'd expect it to happen in the next couple of weeks.

The Junction Triangle now boasts a trio of cheap eats around this corner with TuckShop Kitchen and Baguette and Co. all nearby. More good news for a neighbourhood on the rise.
