Bon Vivant on Spadina

Speaking of salads, the Spadina corridor between Queen and Adelaide has really upped the health factor in the last few months. Joining new entrants like Fresh and Lettuce Eatery, another new kid on the block - Bon Vivant - opened their doors last weekend.

Bon Vivant is a health food store that sells a good selection of groceries including a number of organic items, soy products and wheat free goods. They also have a selection of freshly prepared food (mostly organic), whipped up on the premises. On my first visit I chose a $4.99 organic salad with chickpeas, mixed greens and balsamic and thought it tasted great.
