Disturbing footage shows bloodied victim after truck crashes into Toronto home

Disturbing video has emerged following an incident where a truck slammed into an Etobicoke home on Thursday evening, sending two men to hospital with serious injuries.

Toronto Police responded to reports of a U-Haul truck driving directly into a home in the area of Kipling Ave and Brookmere Rd just after 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Responding fire crews had to extricate the truck's driver, and both the driver and a man inside the home were transported to local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Footage captured from the scene of the crash shows the chaotic moments after the truck barreled into the home, where a man can be seen bloodied and dazed as responding crews ask if he is okay.

WARNING: this footage contains blood and may be disturbing to some viewers.

Shortly after the injured resident was removed from the home's wreckage, the house structure is reported to have collapsed, making this footage even more unsettling.

There are no additional details available about the crash, but both the driver and the occupant of the home are expected to survive.
