cne tickets 2024

Here's how to get a huge discount on tickets to the 2024 CNE in Toronto

The countdown to the 2024 Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is on, and attendees can cash in on huge savings through advanced ticket sales as the annual summer tradition fast approaches.

The CNE returns to Exhibition Place for 2024 starting on August 16, and a promotion from GO and Presto is offering Presto cardholders big savings for this year's festivities.

Anyone with a Presto card can save up to 44 per cent on CNE advance sale admission and ride tickets through an offer available on the Presto Perks website, getting into this year's event for as cheap as $22.

With Presto discounts applied, it will run you under $20 before HST and service charges for admission-only tickets, for a savings of 27 per cent. The real bargains come when you purchase a Ride All Day ticket, which is slashed down from in-person ticket purchases by 44 per cent.

The promotion is available until August 15, at which point the discount will drop to a still helpful rate cut of up to 37 per cent for Ride All Day tickets and 17 per cent for general admission, from August 16 until the close of this year's CNE on September 2.

These discounts will shave just a few dollars off of the CNE's advance ticket prices, but when compared to the prices visitors will pay at the gates, the savings are substantial. With no pre-sale or Presto discount, regular prices for CNE tickets are $80 for Ride All Day tickets and $30 for Admission-only tickets.

In addition to offering discounts for CNE attendees, Metrolinx is also upping GO Train service along the Lakeshore West and East lines throughout the CNE's August 16–September 2 run to keep the flow of visitors moving and relieve pressure on overcrowded TTC routes serving Exhibition Place.
