Viral video shows shirtless man getting arrested at Toronto Pearson Airport

A head-scratching video showing a shirtless man getting arrested inside Toronto Pearson Airport was reshared across social media on Thursday, with many coming up with their own theories about why the disgruntled traveller lost an item of clothing during the incident.

The 30-second clip, posted on X (formerly Twitter), picks up in the middle of the incident, with the man exchanging words with airline staff as he is held back by a police officer and a security guard.

According to Peel Regional Police, officers were called to the Porter Airlines counter in Pearson Airport's Terminal Three shortly after 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say the man in the video, a 24-year-old of no fixed address, had an altercation with an airline employee and was subsequently arrested.

The man has since been charged with multiple offences, including uttering threats, mischief, assault, and breach of probation.
