It's going to feel like 31 C in Toronto this week

Toronto temperatures are soaring and it's soon going to feel like 31 C in the city.

The weather forecast is calling for a scorching Thursday as Toronto reaches record highs for seasonal temperatures.

On Wednesday, temperatures topped 26 C which broke the previous April 12 record of 25.8 C set in 2001.

On April 13, start making plans to visit your favourite Toronto ice cream spot or perhaps the newest one as it's going to feel like 31 C according to the Weather Network.

Temperatures are expected to dip to 24 C on Friday before cooling off around 18 C through the weekend.
