TTC apologizes for horrific subway service in Toronto this morning

This morning was an absolute catastrophe for the TTC. Subway service was suspended throughout the morning on Line 1 due to fires and fire investigations.

As a result of the multiple line closures during rush hour it quickly turned into commuter chaos. Thousands of commuters lined subway stations waiting for service to resume so they could continute on their way. Many angry riders took to Twitter to vent their frustrations on the matter.

TTC spokesperson Brad Ross has since issued a statement explaining what happened while also offering an apology to riders who rely on their service.
