4 new GO Train stations coming to Toronto's east side

On the heels of yesterday's big announcement, Toronto Mayor John Tory revealed we're getting four more new GO Train stations. Though these ones will be on the city's east side.

These four stops will be part of Tory's SmartTrack and they're located at Finch Avenue East, Lawrence Avenue East, Gerrard and Carlaw and at the Unilever site.

Along with the St. Clair West and Liberty Village stops Tory announced yesterday, these six new stations will run along the Kitchener-Stouffville-Lakeshore East GO line.

When Tory first pitched SmartTrack, it included 13 new stations along a 22-stop route. This new plan feature six new stations on a 15-stop line, as the Toronto Star reports.

It's unclear when these new stations will come to fruition.
