Wellesley Street gets its name back

Well, I'm not sure if it'd be fair to say that was fast, but Google has now corrected its misidentification of Wellesley Street as Lourdes Lane. I had been checking rather frequently for the update -- say once every three days or so -- but I slowly let that slip last week, so I'm at a loss for the exact day that the change was made.

According to a tweet we received in response to my original post, the error could be dated back to at least as early as June, just prior to the G20 summit. Assuming that information is accurate, that means the Lourdes Lane enjoyed about five months as a main thoroughfare, which ain't bad for a lowly laneway.

Now, the only question is, why won't they correct the oddly placed Silverthorn neighbourhood label? It's a conspiracy, I tell you!
