CNE Air Show 2010

A first look at the 2010 Air Show

Although the annual CNE Air Show isn't set to begin until this afternoon, it was difficult not to notice that many of the planes arrived in Toronto yesterday. Shortly after 10 a.m. the piercing sound of supersonic jets could be heard across the city -- a not so gentle reminder that summer is coming to a close. We have photographer David G. Tran covering the show for us this weekend (he's something of an aerial specialist), but given that not everyone will get to go, here's a run down of a few of the planes that you'll hear shooting overhead for the next few days.
