The G20 wall is coming down

Except no one can say exactly when or how. Details, details...Toronto $5.5 million anarchist barrier security fence is being taken down. Crews began dismantling the six-kilometer fence today, but officials from the Integrated Security Unit can't say when the work will be completed.

Officials also couldn't comment as to whether fence materials will be recycled or discarded.

Other post-summit cleanup began today as downtown store owners returned to their businesses to deal with broken glass and graffiti.

Spray painted gems include "Bomb The Banks," "Expropriation," and "Fuck Corporate Greed." Toronto Mayor David Miller said today that the federal government should foot the bill for the damage.
