Reminder: TTC Survey Deadline Approaching

The city is broke, and the TTC and other city services need to make cuts. In an effort to involve the citizens of Toronto in their decision-making process, the TTC has been conducting an online public consultation survey. Using the survey, they (presumably) hope to gather opinion on and gauge response to proposed service cuts and/or fare increases.

It's been all over the news and blogosphere in recent weeks, but just in case you've yet to complete the (dreadfully weak) official survey, please do before the deadline of September 10th eclipses.

Also, our blogger friends over at Torontoist are still gathering (much more) data via their own vastly improved version of the TTC survey and will do so until September 10th as well. Whether or not the TTC will accept and embrace the results from the unofficial Torontoist survey is yet to be seen, but we hope they at least consider blog readers' opinions on the issue.
