Toronto Terrorist Bust
Apparently this is what it takes to bump hockey from the front page of the Sun.
From AP:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said they arrested 12 male adults and five youth and foiled plans for terrorist attacks against targets in southern Ontario....''This group took steps to acquire three tons of ammonium nitrate and other components necessary to create explosive devices,'' said assistant Royal Canadian Mounted Police commissioner Mike McDonell said....The arrests were made Friday, with some 400 officers involved.
The Globe and Mail and Canadian Press:
Media reports Saturday alleged that the suspects engaged in terror training camps north of Toronto. It was further alleged that the group was plotting to attack targets in Toronto, including the headquarters of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service....Police say the Toronto Transit Commission -- a public transit system that includes buses, subways and streetcars -- was not among the targets.
