What a brutal way to be rounding out what has been a crazy violent year in the city. In case you haven't heard, some idiots in a BMW fired shots on Yonge Street near Gerrard (think Sam the Record Man, Future Shop, Foot Locker). One dead. Seven injured according to the Star. More reports from CBC (video) and the Globe.

The blogosphere also has responded.

Has this officially gotten out of hand or have we not seen the worst yet?

Our thoughts are with the friends and families of those affected. Totally senseless.
