Paint Cabin
Paint Cabin is a paint workshop, coffee shop and event space in East Chinatown . The space is diverse in offerings, designed as a coffee shop by day and art studio by night, with an intention to expand their open studio hours as well.
The spot prides itself on their local products, using Rufino Espresso beans and Lemon Lily tea for hot beverages, and Beau's and Moosehead for beer.
Their cookies and macaroons are on rotation from Earth + City, and their cake and sweet selections are from Wanda's Pie in the Sky. They also have a variety of locally sourced wines.
Paint Cabin has four different workshops on rotation, including Acrylic Fundamentals ($40), Watercolour Fundamentals ($40), Mixed Media ($42) and Wood Cut arts ($40).
The classes are designed for beginner to intermediate students, offering high quality paints, easels and palettes to provide an authentic art experience.
There's an instructor for each class, and the workshops focus on one project that they complete together, and run from 2 -5 hours. They also offer an open workshop where customers can come in, use Paint Cabin's workshop space, and pay a fee based on the size of canvas they choose. Prices range from $18 - $55 and include all materials.
The space can be rented out for birthday parties and office parties too. Their large custom made harvest table at the front seats twelve and catering comes via The Food Dudes and Mengrai Thai .
