Le Conciliabule Lab
Le Conciliabule Lab is located in Cabbagetown and an extension of Conci that serves coffee, wine and baked goods.
The latter focuses on French pastries including shatteringly crisp and flaky butter croissants that also come in a triple-cheese version that's dusted with poppy seeds. The latter is supposedly good with a side of pickles.
For something a little more substantial, consider the croque madame that traps mushrooms in bechamel sauce between its cheese and bread layers, and is sided by citrus-flavoured pickles.
