44 Toronto is a two-floor, luxurious nightclub with an atmosphere that closely resembles some of the hottest clubs in Miami and Las Vegas. 

It's no wonder that people like Drake, NBA players and other professional athletes coming into the city, tend to frequent this spot as their club of choice in Canada. 

Brothers Wyatt and Aiden Booth hired a light designer (the same one who engineered at Eleven Miami) to orchestrate the floor-to-ceiling light show that makes a night out here unforgettable. 

Rebel would be the closest club I could compare 44's atmosphere to, except you aren't dealing with a space that fits 5,000 people. Although 44 is certainly huge, the dance floor is a lot more intimate and there's more opportunity to get closer to the DJ. 

44 Toronto is pretty versatile when it comes to its space too. The second-floor mezzanine allows people to escape the madness on the main dance floor and take a breather while still being part of all the action. 

Make sure you show up in your best fashion-forward attire as the dress code here leans into more formal because of the club's high-end feel. 

There's a good balance in the age of crowds here - it definitely isn't classified as a university student spot, but also doesn't have an older demographic either. 

It's definitely for those who have the disposable income to pay $40+ for cover, depending on which DJ is performing on the night you go. 

The music here ranges according to different nights of the week, Fridays and Saturdays are more of an open format with top 40 hits, high energy house music and hip-hop, then Sundays is strictly hip-hop. 

Looking for a booth? Prepare to spend big bucks on those as well. The cheapest table here starts at $2,000 and could go up to $10,000 for high rollers.  

Especially if they have special guest celebrities in-house, like Tory Lanez and Jaden Smith who have performed in the past. 

If you do get a booth, you're able to personalize your visit. Ask for your name to go up on the big screen behind the DJ Booth, which would be something fun to do for a birthday night out. 

But it's totally okay if those bottle prices don't work for you. A standard gin and soda (or any mixed cocktail for that matter) is priced at $12.00. 

As for shots, premium alcohol like Hennessy goes for $18, but if you're just interested in standard rail alcohol like vodka, you can get it for $9.00.

44 Toronto shares an entrance with Lavelle, a prominent rooftop bar in the city. The lineup outside these two entrances tends to get mangled into each other, so make sure you're waiting in the right one.
