TIM #3

Toronto Independent Music Podcast #3

Time for TIM #3. All the artists from tonight were winners at the first Toronto Independent Music Awards. There has been some controversy surrounding these awards, and if you're interested in such things check out the Eye article, the Torontoist post or the Stillepost thread on the subject, all of which feature yours truly sticking up for what I think was a worthwhile effort on the part of the organizers which did indeed, I believe, manage to highlight some of the city's best and brightest.

If you're just interested in the music, good for you! Listen to the show and judge for yourself. On this week's show:

* Some Hope For Us - Eden Ants
* Peace Love - God Made Me Funky (also check out the recent GMMF review on blogTO)
* Time Enough for Love - Ray Edge
* Puppetry - Julie Ann Bertram
* Someday - Frontier Index
* Forbidden Thoughts - Angie Nussey
