The Stem is long gone but at least in its place we've got a worthy successor. Yes, BQM Diner is the real deal and even though my multiple lunch visits weren't without their flaws the 2009 opening of this gourmet burger joint is one of the best things to happen to the stretch of Queen West east of Spadina in a very long time.
