It is evident that a lot of love has been poured into creating this unique spot that serves soul food of both literal and figurative varieties. Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance , Harlem strives to be not merely a restaurant, but a hub of local black culture. Artwork by local artists, including co-owner Carl Cassell, is on display, and live music (jazz, blues, funk, soul) is a regular feature.
