From love-everlasting and building trust in an adoptive family, to deepening personal identity and belonging, random acts of dance invites audiences to become immersed in transformative albums of moving human stories at Your Dance Fest 2017.

Curated by, and for, audiences not well-versed in dance, Your Dance Fest 2017 in its inaugural year aims to break down barriers to the appreciation of contemporary dance. By giving audiences new to dance the power to decide what they wish to see, Your Dance Fest 2017 promotes dialogue and invites new audiences to embrace the joy of dance. This year, the festival offers a welcoming, family-friendly programme that will delight both young and young-at-heart.

Over a three-day festival format, Your Dance Fest 2017 will present contemporary dance performances, public workshops, dance classes, and artists’ talkbacks featuring an international cast of Canadian/USA dance artists.

All events will be under $20, free, or pay-what-you-can!
