Walnut Studios is a collection of four bright art studios located in the heart of Toronto’s downtown core. Walnut is home to over 45 creatives working in a variety of disciplines including painting, jewelry, fashion design, sculpture, photography, graphic design and installation. As an organization, we believe our multi-disciplinary atmosphere fosters collaboration and inspiration for our artists. The Walnut project also includes a dynamic art gallery Walnut Contemporary and Blank Canvases, an 'in school' arts education programme. Additionally, Walnut holds classes in painting, drawing, portfolio preparation and much more. Walnut Studios is committed to community cultural engagement and regularly runs special events, and open studio exhibitions for the public. Walnut Studios is committed to our mission to 'create, connect and inspire' through partnerships that encourage art appreciation all over Toronto.
