V1 is a series of multiples and a pyramid scheme the value of which increases with each purchase made.

Sona Safaei-Sooreh is an interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto. She holds a BFA in painting from Azad University Iran, and a BFA in Sculpture/Installation from OCAD University Canada. She has shown her work nationally and internationally in KunstraumKreuzberg/Bethanien Berlin, Cite internationale des Arts Paris, De Bond Brugge, Artspace Peterborough, Art Gallery of Windsor Canada, XPACE Toronto, Narwhal Project8s Toronto, Harbourfront Centre Toronto, Thomas Erben Gallery New York, SESC Vila Mariana Sao Paulo, Aaran Gallery Tehran and Parkingallery Tehran. She has received several grants and recognitions such as Ontario Arts Council Exhibition assistance Grant for Assignments- 2014, Toronto Arts Council project grant with NoYo collective- 2014, Ontario Arts Council Exhibition assistance Grant for Reworking the Common knowledge- 2014 Project 31 Sculpture/Installation Award 2013, Honourable Mentions: 401 Richmond CareerLauncher Prize 2013, Wayne Lum Memorial Scholarship 2012, and Sully Corth Memorial Fund Sculpture Scholarship 2011.

This is the inaugural exhibition and multiple launch at 8-11! With it we will also be introducing a multiples program, a membership program and a website.
