Thurs. Aug. 7 - THE FOOL KILLER - Trash Palace night at the Revue!
Hello everyone! The Mouth and I hope you are enjoying your summer! For the month of August, the Trash Palace is screening a pristine black and white 16mm theatrical print of the legendary, haunting and beautiful film, The Fool Killer.
Starring Anthony Perkins and a young Edward Albert, The Fool Killer was made in Mexico in 1965, but is set in the aftermath of the US Civil War. Albert runs away from home and is befriended by Dirty Jim, who lives in a filthy, decrepit house. Dirty Jim tells the boy the tale of The Fool Killer He kills FOOLS, boy! FOOLS!, the boy runs away again, and meets up with Anthony Perkins' character Milo, a young Civil War veteran with a head wound that caused him to lose his memory. Is Anthony Perkins the Fool Killer?

Thursday August 7 at the Revue Cinema, 400 Roncesvalles, in Parkdale. Doors are at 9, and the film starts at 930. $8 with Revue membership, $11 without. Short subjects before and after the feature! A great snack bar! Luxurious seating! And BEER! This time we'll remember to do giveaways at intermission, whups!
