In The Trouble with Brunch: Work, Class and the Pursuit of Leisure, award-winning writer and urbanist Shawn Micallef takes on the hallowed tradition of brunch, rethinking it as a way to look more closely at the nature of work itself and a catalyst for solidarity among the so-called creative class.

Join us anytime after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6 at Handlebar in Kensington Market as we celebrate the launch of Shawn's book into the world with music, dancing, drinks and cereal-a breakfast item. There's nothing wrong with breakfast, even at night! The book will also obviously be available for purchase.
