The Taste of Manila is the ONLY Filipino street festival in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and aptly located in North York, home of the largest area of concentration for Filipinos in Canada, dubbed as “Little Manila”. The festival closes a portion of a major Toronto street – Bathurst Street – corner of Wilson Avenue. It is a FREE event.

The corner of Bathurst and Wilson is considered to be the epicenter of Toronto's Filipino community.  North, East, West and South of this corner, a Filipino will feel "at home"  seeing the many Filipino business establishments surrounding the area.  This area is referred to as the main watering hole of the vibrant, hard-working Filipinos in Toronto.  The Filipino population continues to grow in Toronto and this is one place where Filipinos no longer are the visible minorities. The friendly, fun-loving Filipinos are simply everywhere.
