E-Saggila is Rita Mikhael, an experimental sound artist from Toronto. She also co-runs one of the city's most exciting tape labels, Summer Isle. Her industrial-tinged techno landscapes have been released on the previously mentioned Summer Isle, as well as Aught / Void and Centennial Apt. She played a truly spine-tingling live set this March, opening for Nick Klein and Cienfuegos at the Primitive Languages showcase at Soybomb. With releases coming out very soon on Opal Tapes and BANK Records NYC, E-Saggila has much to celebrate.

Deadlift, formerly known as DJ Boyzclub, has also had an incredible year. SInce relocating to Berlin from Montreal, she's nabbed a coveted spot on Berlin Community Radio, DJing alongside and hosting a slew of talents like Machine Woman, Jessy Lanza, and Diet Clinic. Recently she played a freaky set at Salon - Zur wilden Renate as part of a Far Away x Love On The Rocks showcase. She's slated to perform at Piknic lectronik Montral and play a series of shows in Montreal this September. I'm stoked she's making a stop at Bambi's along the way.
