SHAKESBEER
With a beer in hand, join three hilarious performers as they weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare’s plays in one wild ride. For one night only, the Classical Theatre Project (CTP) presents its fast-paced romp, "The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged)", while local brewers serve pints at the Covered Street of Artscape Wychwood Barns.
In the tradition of the New American Shakespeare Tavern in Atlanta, GA, and The Globe in London, UK, the CTP creates an atmosphere that harkens back to the fun informality of Elizabethan theatre.
“Once you see The Complete Works, you’ll know why our high-energy production has been such a hit with audiences. Pair beer with the Bard and there’s no reason not to have a good time. Classical Theatre Project is Toronto’s resident Shakespearean theatre company, and we’re here to prove that Shakespeare doesn’t have to be boring.” ~ Tanya Doroslovac, Producer, ShakesBeer
There are two performances on April 5 - 6:30 & 9:00 PM.
