Santa and Winter Market in the Junction
The Junction BIA is delighted to invite you to our annual ‘Santa and Winter Market’ in the Junction event. Please join us in the Junction neighbourhood for a full day of Christmas themed activities and shopping on Saturday, December 5th, 2015, starting at 11:00 AM.
The major attractions include a visit from Santa and his elves at the Junction Train Platform, and the street wide market theme spanning Dundas St W from Indian Grove to Quebec Ave. Kick off your holiday shopping at the outdoor winter market organized by the ‘Arts Market’ also at the train platform. The Arts Market is a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, rated by the Toronto Star as one of the top ten markets in Toronto! Other businesses will be participating in the street wide market atmosphere by having indoor markets, fleas, craft sales, and other original shopping experiences. This unique shopping experience should not be missed!
Other activities include listening to Mrs. Claus read holiday tales, charity events, performances by Creative Children’s Dance Centre in the windows of participating businesses, live holiday music and workshops that include everything from holiday crafts to furniture demonstrations. You can also warm up between shops with hot chocolate and other take-away treats offered by local cafes and restaurants.
Join us, as we celebrate Santa’s Visit in the Junction with both indoor and outdoor markets, workshops, presentations, performances, crafts and holiday promotions. Be sure not to miss the Children’s Choir and a live music performance by an original Brass Quintet at the Junction train platform. You can also follow the sounds of live music that will be coming from participating businesses as well.
