PortsToronto’s Sail-In Cinema™ – one of Toronto’s largest outdoor movie theatres – is back, returning to Sugar Beach August 18 to 20. For the community’s enjoyment, the free, floating festival will once again showcase the world’s first two-sided floating movie experience of its size from a barge anchored in Lake Ontario. With this year’s theme of “Books to Big Screen” movie-goers will have the opportunity to experience – or re-experience – some of their favourite stories in a very unique way. This year’s event promises a truly memorable cinematic experience with custom configured audio and cinema-quality digital projectors.
