Rue Morgue is celebrating the launch of its latest book in the Rue Morgue Library series, Blood in Four Colours: A Graphic History of Horror Comics, with a screening the 1972 Amicus anthology Tales From the Crypt, based on the legendary EC comic series. Directed by Hammer Horror veteran Freddie Francis and starring icons such as Peter Cushing, Joan Collins, Patrick Magee and Ralph Richardson, the movie serves up five stories of macabre revenge that include a murderous Santa, Saw-like traps, and plenty of undead ghouls. Tales From the Crypt features a special introduction by Blood in Four Colours author Pedro Cabezuelo, who will participate in a book signing after the film.
