Peaches & The Hidden Cameras
Live at Massey Hall
Peaches
& The Hidden Cameras
The third season of Live at Massey Hall continues with two boundary-bursting artists whose acclaimed and unique music inspired and paved the way for countless others – and helped put Toronto on the international music map. Both are well-known for their high-energy, provocative and exploratory live performances that challenge audiences as much as entertain. With six albums and a cast of former and current members that represent some of Canada’s foremost musicians, the Hidden Cameras were instrumental in opening up a space for alternative ideas and expressions on the local musical landscape. Musician-producer-filmmaker-author-performance-artist Peaches, meanwhile, released her 5th album Rub in 2015 and celebrates her Polaris Heritage Prize for best album of the 2000s, Teaches of Peaches, as voted by the public.
