Open Roof Festival Closes With A Bang With The Charming And Offbeat Hunt For The Wilderpeople And The Bewitching And Upbeat Musical Duo Most People
Toronto’s Open Roof Festival (ORF), celebrating indie film and music, has reached the end of the seventh season of #MOVIESMUSICBEER. Tonight is the closing night for the seventh season, in which #OPENROOF16 closes with a bang
Most People, called “arty-experimental-pop goodness” by Lonely Vagabond, are the kind
of musical duo that want audiences to get up and dance, and dance you will during their
set. The upbeat tempo keeps rolling afterwards with Hunt for the Wilderpeople, which
centres on a national manhunt, ordered for a rebellious kid (Julian Dennison) and his
foster uncle (Sam Neill) who go missing in the wild New Zealand bush.
Doors at 7:00pm with the musical act coming on at approx. 8:00 pm and the film commencing at approx. 9:00 pm.
